Faculty Profile: Jennifer Boothe

Each Friday for the next few weeks, we will highlight a faculty member at BCXIV. This week, learn about the background of faculty member Jennifer Boothe:

Jennifer T. Boothe trained in Ellicott City under the direction of Caryl Maxwell at Caryl Maxwell Classical Ballet and then performed with the Ellicott City Ballet Guild for 6 years.  Her répertoire includes soloist roles in Swan Lake, Les Sylphides, Coppélia, Cinderella, The Nutcracker, and original choreography.  For 12 years, Ms. Boothe worked exclusively for Ballet Royale Institute of Maryland as a teacher and choreographer, and also as Assistant Director for several years. 

An energetic and approachable teacher, Ms. Boothe is experienced at teaching all levels of ballet. Her warm personality and no-nonsense dedication to a high standard of technique inspire dancers to achieve their very best in her classes.

Ms. Boothe is an ABT Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 3 of the ABT National Training Curriculum.
